The ladies of Ecclesia College basketball took to the court Tuesday afternoon for an NCCAA matchup with Ozark Christian College from Joplin, MO.

The game started out competitive with Gabby Adams and Grace Crawford leading the charge for the Royals. EC would build a five point lead entering the second quarter, and a buzzer-beating three-pointer from Freshman Tyshianna Turner would double the lead to ten entering halftime 32-22.

The second half was a different story as OCC poured in almost half of their points for the evening in an explosive third quarter. However, Madison Bailey (pictured) would score 17 of her 23 points on the night in the second half to keep Ecclesia in control. The Royals lead would get as large as 12 before the Ambassadors closed it to 4. A strong finishing effort for the Royals would push them back out in front and lead to a comfortable 69-57 victory to start the new year.

This win pushed the Royals to 7-4 (5-3) on the season, and 4-1 at home.

Royal Performances:

Madison Bailey: 23 points, 8 rebounds, 5 steals, 4/6 3PT

Grace Crawford: 17 points, 8 rebounds, 3 steals, 3 blocks
