The Royals of Eccelsia College traveled to Moore, OK to play the #10 Saints of Randall University in a Women's Basketball showdown.

Recap:

The Royals came out of the gates with some pace and Randall matched them step for step. They entered the first quarter break with an EC lead of 18-16. This lead would not last long as the Royals hit a wall in the second quarter. Ecclesia could not get shots to fall in the second quarter and found themselves down by 10 at Halftime 33-23.

We all want to know what was said during halftime because Coach Tonya Ingram's squad came out firing and was no longer missing. After shooting 26% on 34 shots in the first half, the Royals would answer with a 64% performance on 33 shots in the second. They would also go 9/14 from three point in the second half to not only comeback but put the game away. The Royals would score 32 third quarter points to help push them to an 80-69 win. Freshman Alysia Pickett would post her first career double-double with 28 points and 10 assists with only 1 turnover, giving her one of the best single game ATR (Assist-Turnover Ratio) in school history.

Royal Performances:

Alysia Pickett: 28 points, 10 assists, 4 steals

Madison Bailey: 15 points, 8 rebounds
