The Royals baseball team faced off against the traveling Dallas Christian College for a four game weekend series on March 26-27th. The series started after a five game losing skid by the Royals.

The series started with a highly contested match starting Cooper Gordon on the mound and Eljiah Saldana finishing. The game was decided at 6-5 in highlight fashion with a two-run walk-off homer by Jalen Reece.

The second game was the only game that EC would drop with a final of 6-1. Matthew Threatt pitched the complete game and Luke Benfield batted-in Austyn Hester.

Saturday began the second half of the series and EC again won in dramatic fashion as Cole Howard bunted a walk-off single that scored Cameron Berry for a 3-2 finish. Jesse Alexander started the game for the Royals and Elijah Saldana finished the game.

The final game of the series was decided 5-2 for a Royals win. Coleson Coffey pitched the complete game, and Austyn Hester and Luke Benfield added two RBIs each.
