Royals Baseball traveled to Moore, OK over the weekend for a regional matchup with Randall University.

The first day of the series was the rougher of the two for the Royals. Game one was the only time the Saints would best the Royals on the weekend. The visiting Royals struggled to find any offense and gave the Saints three unearned runs leading to a 3-1 final score. Elijaha Saldana pitched the complete game in the loss. The second matchup on Friday had a better result for the Royals ending in a 5-2 win. Matthew Threatt pitched for the win, and Luke Befield hit his second HR of the season.

Day two of the series featured a Royals baseball team that "finally put it all together" as Junior catcher Austin Butler told us. The Royals would win the day with a combined score of 30-1. They won the first game of the double-header 17-1, giving up their only run in the last inning. Cole Howard and Clayton Phillips each homered in the first matchup for their first and second home-runs respectively. Coleson Coffey got the win for the Royals, and Landyn McLeod and Dylan Burleson relieved. In game two the Royals posted 13 RBIs on 13 runs and Jesse Alexander pitched a complete game shut-out to win 13-0.
