The Royals baseball team battled the weather to get in a 4-game home weekend series with Crowley's Ridge College on April 17th and 18th.

The first matchup of the weekend set a solid tone for how the rest of the games would go. Matthew Threatt pitched a complete game in only 74 pitches enroute to an 12-2 victory for the Royals. Along with the impressive defense the Royals hitting also showcased itself very well. The team batted .470 on the game led by Austyn Hester's 4/4 with 3 Rs, and Jalen Reece's 3/4, 4 RBIs, and 2 Rs.

The following game did not slow down for the Royals as 12 players scored 22 runs on 19 RBIs for a 22-6 drumming. The Royals batted .475 on the game. Coleson Coffey took home the win and was relieved by Andrew Damin and Cole Howard.

To start the second day of the series the Royals put together a 12-0 shutout. Elijah Saldana and Cooper Gordon pitched a total of 85 for a Saldana win. Again the Royals swung the bat well, connecting for .357 as a team.

The series ended with much of the same as Ecclesia stole their way to an 11-5 victory. The Royals had 12 stolen bases in the game, bringing their weekend total to 24. EC's batting average "fell off" to .310 which would be #10 nationally if maintained. Jesse Alexander got the win and was relieved by Landyn McLeod.

The Royals 57 runs and .403 BA across the four game series was impressive to say the least.
